Players and officials of Ada based Greater Accra Division Two League Upper side, Ok0r Nowomi FC have paid glowing tribute to the philanthropy and kindness of ace broadcaster now CEO of the EIB Empire, Kwabena Adisi AKA Bola Ray AKA Bolex after his donation of a cash to the team on their way to a league game last Sunday.

According to a Facebook post by the team based in Akplabanya, near Sege in the Ada West District, they bumped into Bola Ray in front of the plush mansion of Ideal Finance Group President and Greater Accra Region member of Council of State, Dr. Nii Kotei Dzani whom the team had gone to pay a visit.

Bola Ray was also at the house of the celebrated entrepreneur to apparently interview him for his ‘Revealed’ tv show, and agreed to take a group photograph with the players of Okor Nowomi who swarmed all over the man’s who voice and works they had adored for years but never seen in the flesh.

But they were in for a much bigger surprise after the photo shooting session when Bola Ray took out his wallet and counted quite a number of fresh new Ghana Cedis hard notes and handed it over to Azumah Domnick Tanihu, CEO of the young side who are currently playing in Zone One of the Greater Accra Region Division Two Upper League and eyeing promotion to Division One.

Okor Nowomi meet Bola Ray1The team consequently shared photos of their meeting with Bola Ray on their Facebook page as well hailing his charity and expressing gratitude for the cash donation.

“It was a huge surprise for most of our players to see him in person but to not only take a picture with us but also give us money without even asking for it, we can’t say how grateful we are. We thank Bola Ray so much and pray for more blessings on him,” Okor Nowomi CEO, Azumah Tanihu said.

“We are a young hardworking team but what we lack is someone to support the team and we hope we get someone like Bola Ray to sponsor us and we can win the league. One of players, Adolf Otibo was called to the national U20 team last year and we can produce more,” he added full of confidence.
