Ghana’s Black Princesses have been handed a tough draw at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup. Ghana’s group comprises France, USA and the New Zealand in Group C.
USA won their fifth – and fourth consecutive – CONCACAF title in Honduras in late 2015 while the New Zealanders breezed through a hugely one-sided qualifying campaign in October 2015 and France were one of the semi-finals from the 2015 UEFA Women’s U-19 Championship.
Africa’s other representatives Nigeria are in Group B alongside Spain, Canada and Japan.
Hosts Papua New Guinea, meanwhile, face a series of intriguing challenges against
Brazil, Sweden and Korea DPR in Group A.
Full draw
