Hon. John Nurudeen Ahortu on Wednesday inaugurated the District Election 2016 task force for Ada East.
The police, Electoral Commission, Political parties, the BNI and other decentralised Departments whose mandate contribute to Disaster management have been given the mandate to oversee a successful electoral process before, during and after the elections.
The chairman for the District Security Committee, Hon. John Ahortu in his inaugural speech pledged the Assembly’s support for ensuring that logistics and other means necessary for execution of their duty will be provided and urged the committee to be neutral in discharge of their duties image
“Please even I, when you realise my instructions do not tally with your operational mandates, do exactly what you are mandated for and will benefit the Majority that will bring peace,” Hon. Ahortu cautioned.
The District Commander for Ghana National fire Service Philimon Boabeng, the Divisional Commander for Ada and Sege Districts of the police chief superintendent Larbi and his first handmen were present
