Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has sued Montie FM’s political show host Salifu Mase, alias Mugabe and founder of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor over their defamatory comment against his personality.
Asamoah Gyans sues over defamatory commentsThe duo last month on Montie FM’s afternoon political show alleged that Gyan is funding the biggest opposition political party in Ghana, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as he has imported arms and machetes to support the party ahead of the upcoming election in November.
But the Shanghai SIPG hit-man came out to vehemently deny that report and threatened to sue the duo.
Asamoah Gyans sues over defamatory commentsOn Monday, July 4, , Gyan’s lawyer Kissi Adjabeng secured a writ of summons at the Accra High Court against Salifu Mase and Akua Donkor. They have eight days to respond after service of the writ.
