The launch of the 2016 World Teachers’ Day celebration took place at GNAT Headquarters, Accra under the theme ‘Valuing Teachers, Improving their Status’ ahead of the main celebration on 5th October.
The Greater Accra Regional GNAT seized the opportunity to organize a quiz competition amongst their seven administrative districts.
The Dangme East participated in the keenly contested quiz and won the 1st position. The district was presented with a shield.
The district was represented by the district youth secretary, Mr. Ato Kwamina Dompoh.
