The Greater Accra Regional Playing Cards Competition sponsored by Promasidor’s Miksi Choco comes off this weekend at the Nungua Traditional Council.
The programme comes off on Saturday and Sunday November 19 and 20, 2016. The organisers have planned a special branding show for the sponsor with much assurance of refreshments from Miksi and good entertainment spearheaded by DJ Laloo of Obonu FM fame.
According to Steve Bortier aka DJ Laloo, 20 clubs have registered to take part in the event which looks to be keenly contested.
He said publicity on the Miksi Playing Cards has gone very far as many clubs outside Accra have also expressed interest to participate.
He said some of the clubs likely to cause a sensation or win are Holy God, Camp2, Mandela, Oonaa, Britanica, Argentina, Peaceful, Temple and Flying Eagles.
Others are Parliament, Wantu Wanzuri, Scorpions, Cash Money, Abrubru Kosua, Camara Youth and Nungua Sensationals.
Theo Armah, PRO of Media 2 Concepts, the event organisers stressed that this year’s programme is to promote peace, love and unity as Ghana gets ready for elections.
He urged all cards players and their fans to comport themselves from now till the end of the elections and prayed that God will chose the real people’s choices to lead the nation.
