The head pastor for Musama Disco Christo Church in Ningo Omankope, George Djehu Appiah was found in the early hours of Wednesday shot to death at his residence in Kasseh in the Dangme East District of the Greater Accra Region.
Though the motive and suspects are yet to be established, the Kasseh Police have confirmed that he was shot twice in his
stomach.
The Pastor, according to sources was transferred from Dansoman to head a branch of church at Ningo Omankope, also the Greater Accra Region. The church at Omankope however does not have ready accommodation for the pastor because their mission house is now under construction. They therefore decided to in the meantime accommodate Pastor Djehu Appiah in a mission house at Kasseh, Ada.
Accordingly, he even joined the branch of the Musama Disco Christo Church just last Sunday to commemorate the Palm Sunday service after returning from a family funeral at his home town.
He was however found dead in a pool of blood in the early hours of Wednesday. The Kasseh Police have taken the body for an autopsy .
