The District Chief Executive nominee for Ada East in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Sarah Dugbakie Pobee has failed to get the required number of votes to be endorsed as the substantive CE for the area after assembly members unilaterally decided against her candidature on Monday.
A total of 23 members vote no to the paltry 13 which endorsed her with yes during the event at the Dangme East District offices in Ada Foah.
The former assembly member for Fiagbedu electoral area in Ada-Foah has therefore lost out on the opportunity to serve in the big role despite having been nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,
Ada East District will have to wait for the president to name a new nominee to be considered Chief Executive of the area.
