The Bureau(GH) ltd, a media development agency presents “The Bureau Business Lounge”; a flagship cocktail event for their partners and friends to meet, network and tap into opportunities that may exist within their collective fraternity. The three-hour event will see guests snack on hors d’oeuvres and imbibe on great cocktails while chatting with other guests.
This year’s event, which is also the first of its kind will be held at the serene private lounge of the premier Achimota Golf Club in Accra on Friday March 23rd. According to Mr. Kafui Kudzawu-D’Pherdd, Managing Director of The Bureau(GH) ltd, “the event is aimed to provide the platform for participants to engage and interact among themselves and sell their expertise to each other”.
Doing this, he believes, will provide the pivot for greater business opportunities for guests.
He also added that, one of their partners, Collins Kofi Oppong, who is currently in the country from his base in the United States will meet and interact with the participants who are mostly his friends and reconnect with them.
Participants are drawn from several professional and business backgrounds. The event is by invitation only.
John Armah, the CEO of Orios Group and a Business Strategist will deliver a speech on business solutions for upcoming entrepreneurs and start-ups in the country. There will also be a presentation by Mr. Fred Bart-Plange of Star Assurance.
The Bureau, publishers of the erstwhile The Golfer newspaper, will use the occasion to launch “thegolferonline.com”, a website that will regularly publish golf news in Ghana and beyond. This project will become the one-stop hub for all the news, events, promotions, attractions, tit bits and tips on golf. The captain of the Achimota Golf Club, Mr. Mark Cofie Jnr will launch the website.
