A security man Moses Buer in his 60s, was murdered at the Wabco Gas filing station, Sege, capital of the Ada West District by unknown assailants on Sunday 26 July 2020.
According to the police, he was found lying facedown with his hands tied to his back and the legs, mouth and neck tied; all with a mosquito net as rope.
The Sege District Police Commander DSP George Aboagye told adacommunityonline.com that the police received a distressed call on that fateful day at about 5:30am from a worker at the District Assembly that a body was found lying at the premises of the said filling sttion.
“We inspected the body, took photographs and we lifted the body and sent it for preservation.
A priminary investigation revealed that unknown assailants broke into the premises and murdered the man who happens to be the security of the place and took away Ghc 15000.” He said
He added that they have arrested four suspects who will assist them in carrying out investigations.
We have arrested the manager and his assistant, Solomon Sebbie 20 and Emmanuel Vehe 23.
We picked also Emmanuel Sorgbordjor 20, a pump attendant at the filling station and Buer Joseph, a taxi driver and a former worker who was sacked for mismanagement of the place.

The body has since been deposited at police hospital morgue Accra for autopsy while investigations continue.
