A former manager of a cake bakery accessories company, Enam Evelyn Nusetor Avonyo, is in police grips after diverting large amounts of bakeware meant for the company.
Enam had resigned in December 2020 after a detailed stocktaking took place following suspicion of missing products.
However, after her resignation, Enam Nusetor Avonyo teamed up with another employee, also in police custody, to divert the company’s products and sold to line their pockets.
Checks revealed that while working with her former employers, Enam Evelyn Nusetor Avonyo, opened another bakery company named Frenam Packaging and More, where she diverted the products to sell them as her own.
Enam, after resigning recruited, one Moses Okuntey, who had joined the company as its driver in 2019, to continue diverting the company’s product to sell her new shop.
A recent tip-off led to where the two accomplices have been hoarding the products and the police have since arrested both Enam Nusetor Avonyo and Moses Okuntey.

The owners of the company Enam worked with have since retrieved about $34,000 of the stolen products.
The case is currently under police investigation and anyone who may be doing business with the culprit may become an accomplice to the case.
