Now that Valentines Day has passed, and you have celebrated the love for each other, it’s time to celebrate your love for the most important person in your life. The love for yourself.
Think about it for a second. Who is the person that’s always around, and will always be there for you no matter what? It’s you.
Most of us think that there is one person out there that is the love of our lives.
And yes, there are people who are such an amazing fit for us, that it feels like they are the one.
When the reality is that your “the one” could be many people. You probably felt like your previous partner was the one, and then you broke up and now you found a even better partner, which you think again that this is the one. When the truth is that “the one” is not just one single person, the one is just someone who’s a good fit for you. And there could be many such people.
But if you want to find the true love of your life, your true THE ONE, then all you have to do is to find a mirror and look in it. Because YOU ARE the love of your life.
This means that instead of trying to seek love from other people, what you must do is to give yourself the love that you crave. Try looking in that mirror with those eyes of love and appreciation for the person in front of you. Look at yourself with those loving eyes and recognize that this is the love of your life.
This is who God gave to you, this is how God made you. And He made you perfect as you are. He made you exactly like this because that’s the way were meant to be made, for the life that you’re meant to live. You could have not been anyhow different. All of your qualities and weaknesses, all of your strengths and flaws, physical or personality related, are the perfect equipment for the life you’re here to live.
Stop rejecting yourself.
There is no reason to keep rejecting your own self. Because that’s what you’re doing every time you judge yourself. It’s like if you really like someone, but they reject you because they don’t like your nose, butt, face, or personality. It feels really bad, right? Well that’s exactly what you’re doing when you don’t like those things about yourself… and that’s why you feel so insecure.
I want to invite you to start loving every little thing about. Look at yourself and see how every little piece of you is perfectly designed. There is nothing wrong with you, because we’re not supposed to be all alike. Nature is not all the same, nature is very diverse, and that’s why it’s so beautiful.
Just like humans are diverse, which is what makes us beautiful. Embrace yourself as you are, and give yourself all the love that you expect from others.
You are different and perfect.
It’s time for you to really love yourself. It’s time for you to realize that you are human. And every human being is perfect in it’s own way. Different and perfect. Just like a hand signature, they are all different, and you cannot say that my signore is beautiful while yours is not. All signatures are beautiful, and different. They are supposed to be different.
You are who you are, because that’s who you must be.
When you start to love yourself, you tell your partner that you deserve to be loved. And you give him or her permission to love you.
When you fall in love with yourself, the world falls in love with you.
