Newly appointed Ebusua Dwarfs coach, Prosper Nartey believes communicating with management of the club to schedule training will avoid imposition of training.
Nartey, who lectures at the University of Cape Coast is confident that meeting with club officials to lay down his schedule with the team would be well understood.
On Monday, veteran trainer J. E Sarpong was sacked following the Cape Coast-based club’s poor run in the Ghana Premier League. Dwarfs lie at the bottom of the log sheet with 9 points after 11 games.
Some fans of the club are skeptical and believe the coach would not get ample time for the club to move them out of relegation zone since he is a lecturer.
“Combining teaching and coaching would be outlined when a meeting is held but I can assure you things will be under control,” The former Elmina Sharks coach stated.
He added: “They knew my job before approaching me. Lecturing is my priority and they are aware of it.”
He continued: “I would meet with the Club Officials to schedule for training session”.
Nartey holds CAF License A as well as a Master’s degree in Physical Education.
