Swansea City and West Ham have agreed a £20m fee for Andre Ayew, according to reports.
We reported last night Ayew will leave the club , and a deal has now reportedly been finalised, with the 26-year-old expected to undergo a medical this weekend.
The Swans are thought to be closing in on Atletico Madrid star Borja Baston as a replacement as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next weekend’s Premier League opener against Burnley.
Swans chiefs have been eager to secure a replacement before agreeing to let Ayew join the Hammers.
The exact details of the Ayew deal are unclear but it is unlikely Swansea will receive the full transfer fee up front.
WalesOnline revealed back in May the club were prepared to cash-in on the African ace if a big enough offer arrived on the table.
Ayew’s exit is expected to free up space on the wage bill with the 26-year-old thought to be the highest earner at the Liberty following his arrival on a free transfer from France last summer.
The Ghana international represented a coup for Swansea at the time after they saw off rival interest from a string of clubs in the Premier League and Europe, including the Hammers.

But there was always the likelihood that Ayew and his camp would want to the chance to move on should he prove a success in British football.
The future of captain Ashley Williams remains uncertain following the advances of Everton earlier in the week. A deal looked to be in place that would see the club captain move to Merseyside only for Swansea to formally reject a £10m offer.
There have been reports of Ronald Koeman making an improved bid and the prospect of Williams leaving is not being ruled out, but it remains to be seen whether the deal dies out in the coming days as the season opener at Burnley next weekend approaches.
