The Black Stars will be missing the services of Mubarak Wakaso in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique after medics ruled him out for four weeks.
The Ghanaian suffered a muscle injury in the Yellows’4-0 win over Getafe in La Liga on Tuesday, leading to his substitution after just 15 minutes.
“Las Palmas’ medical team have confirmed a muscle injury for Wakaso,” his club announced on their official website.
“The player, who suffered a microorrotura right hamstring, will be out for at least a month.
“Wakaso Mubarak will spend at least four weeks away from the pitch following confirmation of a microorrotura in the right femoral biceps after tests at the Perpetual Help Hospital.”
