Three coastal towns, Goi, Akplabanya and Anyamam in the Ada West District of the Greater Accra Region, yesterday were hit by a strong tidal waves which left many residents temporarily displaced and also causing damage to properties.
Tidal waves which is an exceptionally large ocean wave, especially one caused by an underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption and the three coastal towns in Ada were victims as some of the photos here show:
The Greater Accra Regional Minister has been to the communities to ascertain the situation.
