Golf action returns to the Tema Country Golf Club this Saturday, July 2 when the next MTN Classic Golf Tournament tees off to an expected tough competition by over 100 golfers from across the country including CEOs of some of Ghana’s biggest companies.
Top golfers including Mona Captan of Achimota, Florence ‘Lady Scientific’ Etwi Barimah of Tema, Ama Morgan, Cathy Boateng and Grace Amoah lead the female cast expected to vie for the array of trophies and 4G phone giveaways on offer.
The tournament being held to herald MTN’s ongoing 20th
anniversary celebrations under the Theme: “MTN Business, your total Enterprise ICT partner of choice” will also see Ghana born Korean, Sung Na returning to swing another shot at the trophy he first won in 2014.
It won’t come easy though with an array of golfers including Kwame Ligbidi, E.J. Ocansey, Yao Dogbe, Evans Darko Mensah and many others all aiming a shot at top honours at the halfway stage of the year as the countdown to the much revered Accra Open gets ever closer.
“We look forward to an exciting day of playing the beautiful game of golf and also create an opportunity for golfers to network with fellow CEOs and decision makers in the Business Community,” a statement from the organizers noted.
